The earliest video. In 1963 a crew came up from Los Angels to shoot a few hours with Coyle and Sharpe on San Francisco’s Market Street. Within seconds of seeing Coyle’s intense face, you realize what a maniac he is. The victim is one of the great proletarian truck drivers of all time. Look at the faces of the crowd gathering around C&S. Years later, when Sharpe met the truck driver’s daughter, she said that her dad always spoke fondly of his run in with Rowan and Martin.
