"Mal and Jim appeared at the Bear's Lair two weeks ago as Noge and Paylock, a pair of Slavic folk singers. They had convicned the Lair's management that they were really a pair of Slavic folksingers, and were admitted to the folk song jam session.

They performed for about fifteen minutes, singing absolute nonsense in a Slavic dialect. Since no one understood the dialect, they were afraid to say they weren't making sense."
